A short field guide to the botanicals we reach for most, and what each one brings to the cup.

Our blends begin with flowers — chosen as much for how they make you feel as for how they taste. Here are three we return to again and again.

Rose

Soft, honeyed, faintly fruity. Dried rose buds give a blend its blush and its calm. Long used to soothe and to comfort, rose is the heart of our Shay Al Ruh blend — floral, gentle, and quietly restorative.

Orchid

More scent than flavour, orchid lends a delicate, almost creamy perfume. It's the namesake of the house, and a reminder that the most beautiful things are often the most subtle — easy to miss if you don't slow down.

Saffron

A few crimson threads go a long way. Saffron brings warmth, a golden colour, and a luxurious, honey-and-hay depth. Rooted in the spice traditions of the region, it turns an ordinary cup into something that feels like an occasion.

Together, flowers and spice — blended with intention, for the body, mood, and spirit.
